Club foot and calf implants, how does it affect muscle growth?

Congratulations, you have obviously done your research and come to the right conclusion, calf implants are your only option for permanent augmentation of your club foot. Unfortunately, implants  will not magically enhance your ability to grow muscle on the club foot side. Hence, if you work out your calves vigorously in the postoperative period, your normal side muscle will likely grow at a faster rate. Glad to be of help. 

The placement of calf implants will have no adverse effects on the underlying muscle in terms of atrophy or inhibit the ability to exercise it normally.
