In my opinion, there are multiple treatments that should improve your acne scars. Either fractional CO2 or infini should be beneficial. My suggestion would be to do a combination of both at one session. You may want to pre-treat the pits and narrow boxcars with TCA cross. Find a scar expert. Acne scars need a combination approach for long-term improvement. Everyone has a unique pattern of acne scarring, and most people have various types of scars, so we create a tailored treatment plan for each patient. Lasers like CO2 (and Fraxel, Erbium) and fractional RF treatments like Infini both work well for textural issues and superficial scarring. All lasers are combined with microneedling/PRP to improve the results and accelerate your healing time. We also use injectable fillers like Bellafill and Sculptra (with or without subcision) for atrophic, indented scars; subcision for depressed, tethered scars; and TCA CROSS and punch excision for deep ice pick scars and narrow box car scars. It's really important to treat each individual acne scar type.Keep in mind that a personalized combination treatment by an expert physician will give you the improvement you're looking for. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist and acne scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer.
There are many types of acne scars. The treatment for scars depends on the type of scar and the patient's skin type. Options for treating scars include laser resurfacing,microneedling/PRP , subscision and dermal fillers. Often times we combine treatments to get the best outcome. In our office we use all of these modalities to treat scars. Lutronic Infini or a CO2 fractionated laser are good options depending on the type of scar. The treatment for scars should be customized for each patient. You should consult with an experienced practitioner who can best advise you.

Infini or a Fractional Laser are great options that can help reduce their appearance. TCA cross and subcision may also be helpful. Be patient with yourself, as scars can be stubborn. This is a straight forward job - many doors to the same destination. IT is not the device but the settings and application that count. You can have either treatment. The provider is more important than the device. Fractional laser OR Infini RF can help. I personally would use CO2 angled delivery - 2-3 sessions will give you 50-70% improvement. If you have rolling scars - add cannula subcision. Final stage is erbium ablative. In the United States, Dr Weiner in FL is a leading expert. All the best, Dr Davin S. Lim. Brisbane,Australia.
First off, the impedance of fat is very high, which means that it has very high resistance. That means it takes a lot of energy to heat up the fat to the point that it dies. Take a look at laser lipolysis. It takes time to melt the fat, and with Infini, we are at 300-400 msecs. Also, the heating...
Like Dr Novick has implied, treat the condition with a method. How effective a treatment is depend on WHAT we are treating and most importantly the skill sets of your doctor. For pores, it depends on the size and your skin type. TCA for large deep pores, lasers and or RF for other sizes. Volume...
