I usually recommend after the 1st week. During the first week your job is to stay hydrated. Most patients get nausea or vomiting in the first few days so exercising to early can increase the risk of dehydration.

Hi, Unfortunately, Crohn's disease is a contraindication to Orbera (or other intragastric balloons, including Obalon). So we would not recommend this for you. Good luck with your weight loss.
