I tried tray whitening from my dentist, I was given 35% carbamide gel to use 30min a day for two weeks. Unfortunately I fell asleep with them in both times I tried to use it. The first time was 4 hours, second time was 2 hours and I even set an alarm! I feel like such an idiot. My teeth are really sensitive, white, but seem to appear translucent? I think I might’ve caused damage. What are my options for repairing enamel? Could the appearance and sensitivity be permanent?

Hello and thank you for your question.
I firmly believe that composite bonding is the best option in your case.
It is very simple, inexpensive, painless and will look and feel great.
All the best to you.

Hello Imaginative115107,
Veneers could be a great way of repairing those chips.
To be sure you apply for veneers your bite would first need to be examined. Unfortunately, those with an over and underbite, do not apply for veneers, as the constant friction would cause them to break.
Best of luck!
Hello! If you have a habit of grinding or clenching, the bonding can chip of too if you do`nt wear a night guard. In that case rounding off the edge can help.
