I had septoplasty done about two years ago and it failed quickly. I was wondering if it's possible to have the surgery redone?

Thanks for your question. It is relatively uncommon but yes a septoplasty can unfortunately sometimes fail. That being said in my opinion the success rate of a septoplasty surgery still exceeds 95%. You seem to be describing an entity well known to nasal surgeons as a "tension" nose. This is where the portion of the septum closest to the tip is essentially to big for the space its in and can literally cause "tension" on the skin, often times even creating a hump or hanging columella. This is all just speculation given there are no photos and I have never examined you. At any rate, to answer your question there is likely no reason why you can't undergo a revision procedure. I would encourage you to find an experience nasal surgeon. Typically a board certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon should be able to assist you. Hope this helps.
