Peels take a few weeks to heal and often cause redness that persists longer than that.  That is why I do more lasers which is better controlled and often gives more consistent results.  I suggest speaking to your physician if you are worried.  Sun protection and skin care/ wound healing are essential at this time to prevent complications.  Best, Dr. Emer.
