I had rhinoplasty four months ago and had a TCA chemical peel three days ago. My nose is not peeling. What can I do? (Photo)

I suggest seeing your physician and getting his opinion.  I am unsure what strength was performed, but should have peeled.  It appears it may not have been applied evenly as you have blotches of redness that may have gone at different depths.  This is why I tend to use lasers more often than peels as they are much more predictable and customizable and even with treatment.  Best, Dr. Emer.

TCA peels can be medium to deep peels. The depth of the peel depends on the strength and the number of layers it is applied. It also depends on the skin type and skin oiliness. Experienced physicians with TCA look for certain signs of the depth of the peel. Frosting, color of frosting, and turger of the ski while doing the peel.  It is not something that can be assigned or delighted to a non medical doctor. TCA peels can cause skin burns, and discolorations, the treatment of which can take a long time and multiple procedures. The treatment ranges from skin care, to chemical peels to laser resurfacing.
