It would be very beneficial to have a HydraFacial done 6 weeks after your rhinoplasty. Due to the tenderness in the nose any sooner than this may be uncomfortable especially during the extraction portion of the procedure. Typically an adhesive called Mastisol is applied to your nasal skin in order for the splint to stay on for the first week post-operatively. As a result, it is not uncommon to develop blackheads in the pores of the nasal skin due to the adhesive blocking them. If your surgeon approves and has an Esthetician in the office, a treatment could be done at 3-4 weeks avoiding the nose altogether. This way you could have the benefit of reducing swelling around the eyes using the lymphatic drainage and improve the textures of the skin by removing the surface dryness that often comes after surgery. Hope this helps!
