Nausea after the sleeve is common but not everybody develops it. In your case it may be related to the swollen tissue of the sleeve itself. I would recommend you contact your surgeon and let him know. It is important to be taking some antacids and anti-nausea medication in the mean time. Also the diet phases need to go from clear liquids, full liquids, soft food, regular food and it takes weeks to get the regular food. Otherwise some doctors start regular food faster and nausea arises. I hope this helps. I'm attaching a link to a video I have that will give you more information. warm regards, Dr. Alvarez
Nausea is often present after Anesthesia, but it’s particularly common after Sleeve Gastrectomy. This is due to the fact that we have created a cylinder (Banana Shaped Stomach) with increased pressure that can create nausea, reflux and vomiting. The severity could be due to the size of the sleeve, proximity of the staple line to duodenum and your pyloric valve activity which is in charge of relieving the gastric contents and the pressure.Regardless, your symptoms are usually improved over time (sometime months) and should be managed with nausea medication, attention to small meals and avoiding solids. If the symptoms continue, you should get some studies like Upper GI X-ray or Endoscopy to evaluate for any abnormality!

The answer to your question is, "It depends." It is certainly unfortunate that many US surgeons refuse to take care of patients whose surgery was done elsewhere. They are offended because you didn't come to them for your surgery. They don't understand that you only did it...
You don't give us enough information to give you advice. What is your BMI? It's not just the size of the liver, but also other issues such as abdominal wall thickness, and the amount of space created in the abdomen after inflating it with CO2. So far, in my career, I have had...
