Chin crease and acne scars: would dermal fillers be the best solution? (photos)

I have acne scars and chin crease in my chin area. I think the chin crease is cause by the acne scars. I would like to know if dermal filler is the besr solution. Are there any other solution to improve the condtion. Age: 34 Ethnicity: South East Asian

From the photos, there appear to be several issues that can be addressed. For one, an appropriate volumizing HA filler can be used to improve chin projections and smoothing. Secondly, an appropriately robust HA lifting filler can be used to elevate the mental crease (the horizontal, linear depression located above the chin and below the lower lip. Botox can be used to diminish the chin muscle movement-related dimpling seen and finally, the numerous papular acne scars seen across the chin can be flattened with intralesional anti-inflammatory injections and/or light electrocautery. Make sure to consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist with experience and expertise in both filler use and acne scars treatment. Best of luck.
