I took accutane 2 years ago and my skin was clear and mild oil for the 1st year. I took accutane for 7 months (1-2 mo 40mg, 3-4 mo 60mg, 5-7 mo 80mg). However, in the 2nd year, my skin got EXTREMELY oily to the point where I feel like washing it ALL THE TIME. It looks so bad. In addition, I get 1-3 small red bumps/whiteheads each day. Lastly, I use 0.1% Retin-A every night, but still nothing. It’s really bothersome. Do you think a second round of accutane will help? I am a 26 year-old female.

Yes you can but your hair is more fragile. I suggest my hair protocol link from emeragecosmetics.com while you are on accutane and proper skin care and facials. Best, Dr. Emer.
