Is Renuvion/J-Plasma Needed for My Back? (Photos)

Hi! I’m 25F! No kids. 5’5 & 145. I’m getting arm lipo/lipo 360+BBL in Chicago in August. My surgeon mentioned that I might have some loose skin on my back after the procedure but he’s not sure if i will or not because I’m young. He said that we’ll have to see, but his prices for Renuvion is $3,000 each area. It’s a little over my budget overall for the entire procedure if I include the Renuvion. So I might have to push the date back to save up some more. Or just not include it at all. Do you think I will need the skin tightening in my case?

There is no doubt that your good skin quality, elasticity and youth are good precondition for liposuction. I am not sure that you need J plasma on top of it but it may be considered if you can afford it. Good luck.

Based on your photos, your skin quality appears relatively good, and at age 25 you are likely to have favorable skin elasticity. While no one can guarantee how your skin will contract after liposuction, you do not appear to have significant pre-existing skin laxity that would make Renuvion essential. It may be reasonable to proceed with liposuction first and reserve skin tightening only if residual laxity becomes a concern after healing.

I have quite a bit of firsthand experience using Renuvion.
In my opinion, it doesn’t add anything on top of Liposuction.
I’ve showed lotsof people pictures of patients who had reunion with Liposuction versus those who didn’t and people cannot tell the difference.
I’ve never had a patient tell me they thought their skin was tighter after using this treatment.
My best recommendation is you save your money and avoid this treatment which in my opinion will someday be considered ineffective.
By far the most important variable is provider selection.
Many plastic surgeons are not particularly good at Liposuction and the results are permanent and irreversible.
Finding the right provider isnot easy or straightforward.
Most people think they can do their research from their phone or computer, but in reality, you really have to meet the provider person to vet them properly.
 The best way to do this is to bring pictures of yourself to the consultation.
During the consultation ask providers to open up their show you as many before and after pictures of people who are the same body characteristics as your own period paragraph highly experienced plastic surgeons shouldbe able to show you at least 20 sets of before and after pictures of previous patients who had similar skin characteristics, amount the body fat were about the same age,etc., etc.
There’s no correct number of consultations needed to find the right provider.
The more consultations you scheduled the more likely you are to find the better provider foryour needs.
