I had a breast reduction over 2 years ago. Since the surgery I’ve had reoccurring rashes on my left breast. The rashes reappear in the same spots. The rashes appear to be from the inside, red, itchy and causes irritability. I met with my PCP to discuss and she didn’t have an answer. She just cited skin irritation and prescribed a cream. During the visit she pulled up pictures of my mammogram and pointed out 3 clamps. My rashes are in the exact areas of the clamps. My PS is in a new state now.

Answer: Rashes Even if your surgeon is in a different state you should still be able to reach her/him by phone to discuss your concerns. Your records from surgery should also be available. I encourage you to continue to work with your PCP and surgeon to determine the origin of the rashes.
