Is it safe to get diluted Radiesse in the same spots I got Sculptra?

I got sculptra all over my face for fat loss, however, after 4 vials i see no results at all. I am wondering if it is safe to get diluted radiesse in the same spots? Since sculptra and radiesse are made of different compounds is it still safe? Has there been any research studies done on combining both?

It is generally considered safe to receive hyperdilute Radiesse in areas where Sculptra has previously been injected, provided there has been adequate time between treatments and no complications from the initial injections. While Sculptra (poly-L-lactic acid) and Radiesse (calcium hydroxylapatite) are composed of different biostimulatory agents, both work by stimulating collagen production over time.

There is limited published data directly comparing or combining the two products in the same anatomic sites, but in clinical practice, many aesthetic providers have used them sequentially or in combination with good results and no safety issues when done properly. Key factors include injection technique, dilution, product placement depth, and ensuring inflammation from the initial treatment has fully resolved.

If you’re not seeing the desired outcome from Sculptra after several vials, it’s reasonable to explore alternative treatments like hyperdilute Radiesse, especially for skin tightening and collagen stimulation.

Yes, you can use hyperdilute Radiesse in the same areas you were treated with sculptra. Radiesse has the ability to form three different types of collagen versus sculptra so you may be more impressed with that product. It also gives you immediate volume compared to sculptra. Many injectors layer these products so you should not have a problem using both.

Based on your previous questions and concerns over acne scar, you may need fat grafting and facelift. Please send pictures for better evaluation. Radiesse is calcium product and would not mix it with Sculptra.
