Will my jaw muscles go back to normal if I stop chewing gum?

tiggiy
I have been aggressively chewing hard gum for the benefits I thought it would have on my facial structure, however, I now realize I have been mistaken and do not like the way my jaws have widened up. I know most doctors would recommend botox, but because I have been chewing gum so destructively would my muscles go back to the same structure if I stopped? Similar to other muscles on the body?
