Can bulging forehead veins be safely treated/removed/drained? Are there any less dangerous new treatment techniques?

39-yo female w/ forehead veins that bulge a lot when I smile, like attached picture. Starting between eyebrows up to my hairline. Avg weight, low bp. I avoid being photographed. I read docs often dont risk treating/removing because of risk to the eyes; still the case? Can someone advise?

The posted forehead veins can be treated by sclerotherapy, removal through tiny incisions or a combination of both.  There is some bruising associated with the treatment and the risk of any eye problems from the treatment when done by an experienced physician should be very, very low.
