What are the pros and cons of custom PEEK cheek implants?

medpor implants with screw fixation instead.  I find this to be more reliable.  The most important
aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek
consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate
you in person.

The benefits of custom cheek implants made of PEEK material compared to the far more commonly used silicone material are really none. It offers no biologic advantages. It does have several disadvantages such as a significantly increased cost to manufacture and longer intraoral incisions needed to place them.
