I have T junction skin breakdown. I am super nervous I was an out of town patient. The doctor says to keep it clean and put gauze on it and let it dry out to heal. He called it mechanical debridement. Should I be putting a wound care cream on it? I am almost 4 weeks post op and I just want it gone.

It's very normal to look very, very closely at your results, but try not to worry over little lumps and bumps at this time. It's still very early in your recovery - too early to evaluate your "after" appearance. That won't come until about 6 months after surgery. Your scars actually continue...
It is not uncommon for patients to experience surfacing sutures post-op. This entirely depends on the technique and type of sutures used by your surgeon. Regularly follow-up with your surgeon to prevent any complication.
