Would PRP help a breast cancer patient that had texotere for chemotherapy? Hair grew back very thin in most areas.

In my opinion, PRP can help post chemotherapy hair loss and thinning.  The  important factor is whether you are on a  estrogen blocker after the chemotherapy has ended. In my experience, this  blocker, interferes with the hair regrowth.  It has been our experience that tamoxifen is the best  of this class of drugs to allow hair to regrow. our PRP results are better a year or two after chemotherapy than directly afterward. However, given the biology of the  process there is reason to believe that performing the procedure shortly after hair has really stopped growing, it may improve regrowth.  The earth, although I think most physicians would be conservative about performing the procedure after chemotherapy, it may ultimately be shown that this is superior to waiting
