As a child I LOVE lemons and pickles...too bad no one told me they were bad for my teeth until I was about 17 and figured it out. I live with the regret everyday of eating those two foods. I'm really self conscious of my smile and I hate it! You can see in the second picture the erosion and wearing down on my front teeth. But we don't have $3000 laying around for me to fix my teeth. I also have a major cavity, about half of my tooth has fell out. Is there anything I could do??
Answer: Veneers and no money Sorry to hear about the situation you are in. Unfortunately elective dentistry is not inexpensive but you should be able to find a dentist that is willing to finance your treatment to break it down to monthly payments. In my office, we offer care credit with no interest for up to 24 months depending on the cost of the treatment . Good luck and I would get the cavity fixed rather than the veneers since the decay can get much bigger

Answer: Veneers You are right. Elective dentistry can be very expensive. Depending on the amount of damage to your tooth structure you may just need recontouring (polishing the edges to make them look straight and as they should be), bonding, veneers to crowns depending on the amount of damage done. and each has associated costs. A shorter time treatment may be able to be done to get you smiling but knowing that in the future more definitive treatment will be needed.Just like the other dentists we offer Carecredit for financing of treatment so hopefully you can get the treatment completed with financing. As far as the other tooth is concerned I would recommend getting it looked at since it has a great potential to start to hurt.If you would like to drive up I can review and give you your options.Brett S. Answer: Restoring badly damaged teeth Hali, You are not the only person who has not been taught proper care of teeth. I have twenty public service videos on my website that explain tooth problem prevention. None are more than a minute long. At this point you need to first do something that will stabilize the damage until you can get the funds to fix the problems correctly. Unfortunately the proper corrections are complicated to provide; so they cost more.
