Can I use bleaching/skin lighting cream between laser sessions on bikini area to improve results of next treatment?

You should not need to use bleaching cream behind bikini hair removal treatments. Do not use any kind of creams, lotions, skin altering serums or tanning accelerators. These could cause skin sensitivity and predispose the area to blistering and burning.   Darker hair should be easier for the laser to see and remove.  The keys to success for the bikini area are simple.  First, make sure the right laser is being used..Alex for types 1 through 3 Caucasian skin and Asian type 4, Yag for skin types 5 and 6(Hispanic and African American).  In addition, the time intervals between treatments is important.  8 weeks between treatments is optimal for the time it takes for the hair in that region to recycle.  At Monroe Comprehensive Laser Center in Monroe, Mi, we use the Candela Gentlemax Pro and have had excellent results.
