Can new moles form after having laser hair removal done?

It is not likely that the laser caused a mole from the laser treatments.  Now it is advised to stay out of the sun two weeks after a laser treatment  to avoid hyperpigmentation and wear a spf of 50 or higher.  Please consult with your physician before having a laser treatment done.  

Thank you for your question in regards to laser hair removal. Depending on the type of laser used, treatments could make a pigmented lesion darker. But if a new suspicious bump, mole or lesion has surfaced it is best to see a dermatologist for a complete evaluation. I hope this helps.

Hello, thank you for your question.  The laser, depending on the wavelength being used can pick up on a pigmented lesion and make it darker, usually resulting in eventually schluffing off.  It is not likely that the laser actually caused a mole to form.
