thank you for your question.  IPL treatment treats red vessels, hyperpigmentation and it improves the texture of your skin by producing collagen and elastin. you will pepper after the treatment and the dark spots will appear darker before they flake off. do not be alarmed.  This takes 2-4 days depending on your skin type and the intensity of the treatment.Always consult with a physician to make sure you are a good candidate.

I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist about your results after the IPL laser treatment. Thank you for your question. IPL will target the pigment in your skin, causing it to appear a few shades darker follow by it sloughing off similar to coffee grounds. This process can take 7-14 days. If after two weeks you still feel as though you have a color or textural discrepancy be sure to follow up with your provider.

IPL does not make the skin worse, actually the skin can look better just after one session. IPL works very well for redness, capillaries, sun spots. If you are suffering from an active Rosacea break-out, IPL is not indicated because of a possible flare up. When considering IPL or any laser treatment, it is imperative to consult with an experienced physician in laser technology and with a reputation of excellence in the community.
As far as your outcome you need to get in touch with the doctor who performed the treatment. Also I suggest you hold off on further IPLs  until your break-out is healed.
