What could happen if I have the IPL treatment tomorrow after finishing augmentin?

Thank you for your question.  IPL treatment treats red vessels, hyperpigmentation and it improves the texture of your skin by producing collagen and elastin.  Laser hair removal is best performed with a diode, yag, and alexandrite laser.  Always consult with a physician to make sure you are a good candidate. 

I recommend going over your medication and medical history with your provider before you start the IPL treatment. However for more facial rejuvenation to do along with the IPL I would suggest a combination approach of :1) skin care with products and PRP/microneedling2) PDT light therapy few times a month with growth factors3) laser treatments like clear and brilliant regularly and a few times a year Fraxel, Viva, Co2/Erbium4) Sculptra injections a few times a year for collagen production with fillers like juvederm/restylane/belotero/radiesse/bellafill5) thermage/ultherapy for yearly skin tightening with or without PDO or cone based instalift threads for lifting6) botox every 2-3 months to stop movement lines and prevent lines at restBest, Dr. Emer

Nothing will happen if you have an IPL treatment after finishing an augmenting treatment. Just make sure you don’t have any infection on the face though.
