Skin Tightening after Liposuction on lower abs and back for loose skin - what are my options? (photos)

Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in.

From your photos and stated goals, I'm not sure you are going to be able to fully address your concerns without a tummy tuck. You may be able to have a mini tuck in order to minimize the scarring. You can consider BodyTite for skin tightening, but it likely won't give the same result as a tummy tuck would.

Hi and welcome to our forum!From your photos, I note lax lower abdominal skin associated with a small hanging pannus. You have a lower abdominal vertical scar at anterior midline. Abdominal muscle tone appears satisfactory. Liposuction is designed to remove fatty tissue. It will not significantly shrink the skin to the degree necessary to eliminate the skin folds. You may wish to consider a mini-tummy tuck to remove the lower abdominal lax skin and improve contour. The scars are placed within the bikini line for camouflage.Visit a board certified plastic surgeon for evaluation and discussion.Best wishes...
