I am a 43 year old female and I've been addressing recent elongation of face with fillers etc. Face was not long before. As background, I lost 4 of the 5 teeth in upper rear jaw over the past 5 years. Would facial aesthetics ( cheeks and facial width etc.) improve more with: 1. dental implants, 2. palate expansion? 3. Or both? If I did palate expansion, should I have implants put in first?

It looks like the pain had rather a sudden onset in the area that has healed since the previous regenerative surgery. My first suspicion would be another tooth adjacent to the area where the graft procedure was performed. See your dentist, such things can be easily diagnosed. Good luck !!
Ordinarily any bone graft procedure performed with any approach that enhances local regenerative (healing) response has less postoperative pain than if done without it. The fact that you experience pain and discomfort is an indication that there is something going on with...
Pain can be indicative of inflammatory process or infection (peri-implantitis). This is not normal after 3 months and it should be evaluated by a surgeon to assess its health. See link below for more on this condition.
