I had chemo causing hair loss 5 yrs ago. This has largely regrown just thinner. I've been told Rogaine could help but don’t want to shed the healthy hair I’ve got. Does Rogaine make you lose the healthy hair?

Great question, this is the 2nd time( a colleague told me few years ago) that I heard about this possible Minoxidil side effect. You need a detailed evaluation and I will suggest you to see the hair loss specialist that recommended the medication. Good luck.
Rogaine is only effective as long as it is used. Unfortunately, any benefit gained from its use will disappear if you discontinue using it. I suggest a consultation with a restoration specialist who can examine you and discuss your possible treatment options.
