Price of a #facelift is always a concern when deciding whether or not to have a cosmetic procedure. Patients’ needs and goals vary, so there is no fixed price for a facelift. These are the contributing factors to the cost of a facelift:-Surgeon’s fee-Facility fee-Medication cost-Anesthesia feeEstimated fees may also be found here on Real Self, and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery website. The best candidates for #LiteLift are patients 35-60 years old with early changes of the lower face and the neck. Older patients who cannot or do not wish to have a longer operation or general anesthetic can be improved with a Lite Lift™.Lite Lift™ surgery is individualized for each patient. The best candidates for Lite Lift™ surgery have a face and neck line beginning to sag, but whose skin has elasticity and whose bone structure is well defined and do not smoke.
Hi Neck123Thanks for your post. As it depends on where you are based, our prices start at £6000 for the facelift and £8500 for the face and neck. The cosmetic procedure is similar to a mini facelift as it is performed with a short scar that runs in front of the ear, down to the ear lobe and tucked behind the ear. There will be no dressings or drains afterwards. This is performed as a day case, walk in-walk out procedure with minimal bruising and downtime. For those who have excess fat under the chin but still have good muscle tone and skin, liposuction of the neck will be sufficient. If the skin has lost elasticity, removal of excess skin (Neck Lift Surgery) to tighten and tone the neck will also be required. Tightening of the platysma muscle (also known as platysmaplasty) will require a small incision under the chin away from direct view to gain access to the front edge of the muscles on the neck; they are sutured together with permanent stitches. The muscles of the neck are the foundations and building blocks of the neck and are fundamental to achieving a tight and toned result.Do your homework and find a reputable surgeon near you.
Hi, I have performed many faceliftsover the past 30 years. From the attached photos, the cheeks are flatanteriorly (in the front), there is excess facial and neck fat along withexcess facial skin evidenced by jowls and nasolabial folds. These combineto create a rectangular shaped face. Following the beauty principlesoutlined in my book on face and body beauty, women look the most feminine, youthful and attractive with heart shaped faces. Heart shaped faces have cheeksthat are full and round in the front. Cheek augmentation using a dermal filler(I prefer Restylane Lyft) or with cheek implants for a permanent enhancementwill create full, round cheeks anteriorly that will feminize the entire face. I would combine liposuction to reduce excess fat for further shaping of the cheeks. Jowls are sagging facialtissues and an indication for some form of a SMAS facelift. Theunderlying SMAS layer, of the face, must be dissected, lifted, trimmed andre-sutured. The excess skin is then removed and the facelift incisions closed. My most popular facelift is theminimally invasive, short incision facelift that has all the benefits of moreinvasive facelifts (traditional, mid-face, deep plane and subperiostealfacelifts) but with these added benefits:•very small incisions•minimal tissue dissection = lessbruising and swelling = rapid recovery•can be performed in 90 minutes orless, with or without anesthesia•no incisions within the hair = nohair loss•excess fat can be removed•excess skin removed•cheeks, chin and jaw line can beaugmented with dermal fillers (I prefer Restylane Lyft) or facial implants•most patients fly back home to partsall over the world in as little as 3 days post-op I tell potential facelift patients to think of creating a more beautiful or handsome face by working on three tissue levels. The bony structure should be appropriate to make a woman’s face heart shaped and a man’s face chiseled and angular which is described below. Next the fatty layer should be reduced or shaped allowing the shape to be seen and finally excess SMAS and skin (evidenced by the presence of jowls) should be removed from the face and neck.Hope this helps.
