At 17 I discovered I have excess body hair and my hair started thinning ( I'm a women ) . In 2013 I did blood tests and it turned out that only DHEA-sulfate was high ( and everything else was normal ). Doctors didn't know how to diagnose me , it wasn't pcos but they put me on 2 pills ( aldactone 100mg and androcur 10mg) after 3 years I redid the blood test and dhea-s was still high . I was able to solve my excessive body hair by doing laser but my hair on scalp kept on thinning .
