No Room in Daughter's Mouth for Canine (Cuspid) Teeth. What Can I Do?

Without question, the best thing to do is to seek out a consultation with an orthodonitst.  Typically, full orthodonitc brackets are utilized to create space for the impacted cuspid.  Once the space is created the tooth is exposed with a minor surgery, a bracket attached, and the tooth is slowly moved into the correct position.  Hope this helps.   

It is quite common for a young 8 year old to have a spacing problem with a mixed dentition.  It is highly recommended that you have your daughter see an orthodontist.  The orthodontist with take records and have a baseline in order to properly sequence the eruption of the canines.  Please do not ever remove your canines especially when you have the option of orthodontic treatment.  The canines are the cornerstones of the mouth and we rely on them for proper occlusal (biting) function.  They can easily be extruded into proper position by a minor surgical procedure once space is made.

Your daughters situation is very common and best that she an orthodontist at this point so accurate measurements can be made and a plan to best resolve her situation.   Often times this is done in stages to best facilitate tooth position and growth patterns.

You can orthodontically make room which is usually the best option but most expensive another option is to remove and then place veneers over the front 6-8 teeth to make it look like all the teeth are present good luck
