I received my attachments today. Some did not stick. Will this affect the final result of my Invisalign process?

I'm a 61 year old female who decided to jump in and go for the Invisalign treatment plan. The dentist opted to add the attachments on the third set of aligners. Some of the attachments did not stick to the teeth (4/19). Was this the technician's inexperience? And, will this prolong the process? The dentist decided that the missing attachments can be added during the refinement stage. Should I be concerned at this stage?

When you get home to put the new trays in you might find them tighter then usual. Your dentist would probably suggest you wear them for longer time then your usual schedule to make up for the lost time. You should check with your dentist when you get back if the new tray doesn’t seem to fit p...

You should not be concerned, and this could be a big benefit also. Since a cosmetic dentist can look at many things about your smile, they are often going to be the best choice for straightening your teeth. Make sure you choose a dentist or orthodontist who is highly experienced with Invisalign....

Invisalign works well with missing teeth, since there is no problem adding them into the tray so the space should not be visible when you are warring the trays
