Is endocrine medication induced hair loss reversible? If so when should it come back? Anything I can do to speed up the process?

This is difficult to answer without pictures, However this needs an in-person evaluation. Tamoxifen  raises testosterone levels in males. It is usually utilized for male breast cancer. Do not stop tamoxifen if you are under a physician's direction. It can stimulate hair loss often associated with male pattern type hair loss. Hello and thank you for your question. Yes it is possible the Tamoxifen is contributing to your hair loss. That being said I don’t advise you to stop taking it until you speak to your physician. Please make an appointment with your doctor and see is there is an alternative drug you can take. I wish you the best.

If you are being treated for Male Breast Cancer, then do not stop the Tamoxifen unless it is under the direction of your doctor. When you are finished with the course on the drug, if the hair loss is not genetic and only related to the drug, it should reverse.
