How long after lap band surgery can you return to work?

Depends what kind of work you do.If you are sitting most of the time, one week
should be enough time to recover from a band.

1-2 days after the band that will be ok to return to work unless you have any problems but it will take at least 1 month to back to normal.

In general Lap-Bands are put in as an outpatient surgery, so you're up on your feet, home the same day sleeping in your own bed that night and certainly being active and moving around in the first few days is critically important. People typically are able to go back to work after five to seven days. If your pain threshold is less you may be able to go back to work a little earlier but in general thats the time frame I would recommend taking off from work if you can.
