Hello, would upper eyelid surgery be beneficial? I've been told I look tired a lot and people think I'm much older than I am.

Answer: Younger Eyelid Excess You have a little extra skin, which is sometimes called "dermatochalasis," on brief assessment (ie, unofficial) from your photos. An upper lid blepharoplasty could eliminate this, though yours would be one of the milder cases - at least in my hands - that would receive this treatment if you wanted to do it. Some of the reasons that people receive upper lid blepharoplasty might be if the skin and muscle tissue is so lax that it obstructs the upper outer visual field, which is unlikely in this case. But that doesn't mean you can't pursue something that is important for you. If it's important for you, then it's important and worth asking about.
