Hello, I’m planning to have bichectomy done in a few weeks but would it be okay if I go on a vacation (hotel, sun and beach kind of) 2 weeks after bichectomy? Or should I just not risk it and wait? Thanks a lot.

Answer: Post op instructions after buccal fat pad reduction
Buccal fat procedure can lead to temporary postoperative hardness. Early on, in my practice, we do not recommend massage. As the patient heals, light massage can help the hardness dissipate faster. Speak with your surgeon for further questions. Best Dr. Anil Shah
