Can a short upper jaw be corrected?

I have a short upper jaw. My teeth don't show a lot when I smile and my it is very unattractive. I was wondering if it could be corrected. Thanks!

10mm is significant. I suggest seeing a orthognathic surgeon first, take X-rays and be evaluated. You will need braces and surgery most likely.

It should be carefully evaluated by an orthodontist and orthognathic surgeon to make sure your issue is dental and not skeletal.

This is best answered by your surgeon. It depends on the type and extend of the surgery. Usually, I would like my patients to stay in town for one month.
