Seroma - when to get drained? Or to leave to try to absorb?

I am post op day 12 of a breast augmentation. 650/700cc, areola incision, under the muscle. My right breast the 700cc has a Seroma its been present about 5 days as far as I have noticed. I have seen my surgeon he wants to see if the body will absorb it. It caused me to have spitting stitches. I am wondering how long you would leave a Seroma before going in to drain in? I am on an antibiotic as well just to be safe and don't want to risk infection. He wants me to wait another week.. Is this fine?

If your medical doctor gives you the clearance for surgery, you will probably do well. Most patients with myasthenia gravis do very well once the thymus gland has been removed. However, the decision for surgery will be first made by your neurologist and not the plastic surgeon.

I would suggest going back to your surgeon and trying on sizes. A 475 cc implant is somewhat large and heavy. Your surgeon can give you the best idea of what range of implants would be best for your frame and tissue. Remember, you want to look good now, and look good in 20 years, and even at 40...
