I had revision blepharoplasty done on dec 14, 2016. Its been 4 months and I am worried about the persistent swelling. I look sleepy all the time because my eyes look half closed. I can't take photos from a lower or straight angle, I have to look up in photos to look normal. My scars are quite visible. And when i look up, my lids feel heavy and feels like pulling. can't go out without makeup. always have to wear thick eyeliner and fake eyelashes to hide my swelling to some extent. WHAT IS WTONG?

Answer: More swollen than average. Incision maybe a bit high
The shape of the outer corner of the eyes can be altered with surgery such as canthoplasty or canthopexy. There are specific indications for these type of procedures. See an oculoplastic specialist to learn more about their risk and benefits, as well as the indications for surgery.
Hi Ivanalpp,It will be best to ask your surgeon about this as he/she will be able to explain and correct this better. Should a revision be neccessary in the future, it should not be that complicated.
