What kind of laser would you suggest is best to get rid of this eyebrow tattoo? (photos)

What brand/type/wavelength of laser would you suggest would be the best at getting rid of this tattoo? The colour has already faded from brown to a rather...orange colour. They drew the tattoo way above where my hair actually grows...disaster. I have to use makeup every day to cover it to look semi-normal.

Hello,As the other panel members suggested, having the correct pico or nanosecond technology is ideal in addressing the oxidized ink.  We use the Medlite C6 and QYAGV lasers for cosmetic ink and have had good success.  When ink is resistant (too light of a color), we have the option of the Sciton ProFractional laser to pull the ink out rather than fragmenting ink into particles.  Please see below link for additional info/photos.

Yes, this can be readily removed with a Picosecond Laser. We use the Enlighten 3 which is amazing and I know would help you immensely with this dilemma.
But any Picosecond technology I would recommend looking into and find a provider near you and go in and get your questions answered and see if Place felt comfortable and if so schedule and begin..likely within 5-6 sessions with this new picotechnology, these brows will be history.

We use the Discovery Pico, PicoSure and StarWalker lasers offer both picosecond and nanosecond technologies.  It appears that you have pink or brown ink, which possibly would require more than one of these lasers to achieve complete removal of all tattoo ink.

I recommend the newer picosecond laser for the most efficient treatment.  You would most likely benefit by starting with 1064nm wavelength.  Keep in mind that with cosmetic tattoos, you may experience an initial darkening of your tattoo during the course of your treatment if there is any iron in the ink.  Consult with an experienced and board-certified cosmetic physician.

Hello, thank you for your question and for including a photo. I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your tattoo eyebrow. The color does appear to be in the reddish/brown color range, it may take a combination of wavelengths to best target the pigment. Different colors require different wavelengths to target the color. The latest technology in laser tattoo removal is the pico-second technology. The PicoWay Laser (Candela/Syneron) uses photoacoustic
impact/pressure waves rather than photothermal/heat.  This process has less heat, therefore it is
more comfortable and the chances of hyperpigmentation are less.  The Pico-second pulse shatters the ink into

Im sorry that you have had a bad experience. The good news is that this tattoo should have a good removal outcome. Please be sure you go to an experience physician that has expertise in tattoo removal. You should be treated with the newest technology lasers that use both pico and nano technology. These laser usually have dual wavelengths that treat both dark colors like black very well. If the ink is fading and leaving some brownish color or if this is due to minor bruising under the skin a different wavelength (as 532) may be used to clean it up.
