Hard and soft lumps after 3 weeks, is this normal? How can I tell it's not a seroma? (Photo)

Question

It has been 3 weeks and 1 day since my tumescent liposuction. The procedure was really painful and for the first 2 weeks I was bruised in the back, I did upper and lower abdomen, flanks and love handles. I'm most concerned with a line under my belly button. Doctor said it could be a mark of pants or high panties. But I'm avoiding to use pants and all my panties all lower then the mark. It could be fat? The lump is soft not like the one in my left side that is really hard and painful to touch.

Your swelling looks typical for 3 weeks after liposuction.  It is common to have swollen areas for months after lipo, and it just takes time for it to resolve.

You look amazing! It is still very early in your healing process so try to be patient. Massaging can help break up little irregularities, so definitely try that. Wear your garment at all times still and this can help too.

it looks right for a liposuction 3 week post op abdomen. My advice is to give more time, it will go down. some little irregularities or asymmetries usually disappear within 6 months ,. it does't look the garments caused any damages. The abdomen is always  a little more difficult area  to look immediately smooth and perfect . in my opinion you have good results so far . Give time, worst case a little touch up after 9 month is always possible .
