Full lips and weak chin, how can I fix this? (photos)

I have a concern about my look. As you can see in my side view photos, my chin is weak and my lips are so full, I can't identify causes of these problems. Could you please let me know how to resolve these issues. Thank you

You need an augmentation genioplasty with bone supply (hip grafting, likely, from the iliac bone) to make your chin gron in three axes:-vertically, to achieve profile view balance with your maxilla and frontal thirds of the face-horizontally (not visible but likely too), to masculinize-anteriorly, to gain the missing projectionBeware! never ever accept chin implants or fillers, they lead to complications, unhappy patients, poor results and actually don't provide what your chin evidently needs: augmentation in 3 spatial axes.Seek the help of a surgeon with experience in multidimensional 
genioplasties (beware, you are NOT a case for a basic and simple sliding
 genioplasty).If you wish better grounded opinion well lit, 
focused and standard images have to be assessed: frontal, both lateral 
and both oblique views, also underneath the nostrils.

You have a few options to improve your chin and profile. If you’re not sure you’re ready for surgery, but still want to improve and strengthen your chin and profile, I’d suggest augmenting your chin with Sculptra and/or Voluma. If you like your new look, you can make it permanent with a chin implant. I hope that helps.

Dear HungThanks for sharing your photos. A chin implant and lip reduction can address your concerns. A front view would be beneficial to better assess if a lip reduction would be of enough benefit. Both can be performed safely as outpatient surgery.

Thanks for your question. Your lips are entirely normal. You do have a small chin though. That can be managed with chin augmentation using filler or chin implant. I would recommend that you consult with a facial cosmetic surgery specialist for more information.

Without an exam your question cannot be answered.  You will need to see an Oral/Maxillofacial surgeon to see if othognathic surgery, genioplasty or using an implant is best for your specific case. It should be noted that patients with severely weak jaws or abnormally functioning jaws may be better treated with other facial surgery (orthognathic surgery), although a chin augmentation may be an option at a later time. These patients should seek the advice of a plastic surgeon to determine which course is right for them. Here is some information to help you make this decision: Candidates for Chin Augmentation - Patients whose chin profiles are weak but have normally functioning jaws are candidates for Chin Augmentation. Many of these candidates have used injectable fillers in the past to strengthen the protrusion of their chins, but are looking for a permanent solution. If you are one of these patients, then you are a likely candidate for chin augmentation

A chin implant and perhaps a lip reduction surgery may be options after you are assessed with an exam in the office. Chin implants can improve chin projection and rebalance the face between the chin, lips and nose.

The best approach would be to consider chin augmentation first. Have some computer imaging done to determine its effects and see how that impacts your perception of the lips. If you have have actual chin augmentation surgery you should defer on any lip reduction surgery until you see the actual result on your face for three to six months afterwards. When the chin becomes more pronounced you may see your lip size differently.
