Can Botox injections help minimize nostril flaring (whenever I smile) and slightly reduce the wedges of the nose? I don’t think a full rhinoplasty is necessary in my particular case. Here are pictures, before (my original nose shape) and after (how id like my nose to look).
Answer: Botox Can Help Nasal Flaring With Smile; And Filler, Properly Placed May Slightly Narrow The Base Of Nose Botox (as well as Dysport and Xeomin) have been used for years to diminish the smile-related flaring of the nostrils that some people have. It usually takes no more than a droplet placed on each side to achieve the desired result. The degree of narrowing you demonstrate in your photo may not, however, be possible, although improvement to some degree is. A filler would need to be placed in the wedge areas to the sides of the base of the nose (the pyriform fossae), which would in turn apply a small amount of inward pressure to narrow the base a bit. This is a tricky area to inject where important blood vessels are located and must be left to really experienced injectors and not merely novice medspa injectors or those accustomed to injecting ordinary smile lines with simple fillers, like plain Restylane or Juvederm. Make sure that you consult with a board certified aesthetic physician with expertise in nonsurgical nose jobs. And, be sure to ask to see his/her before and after photos before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck.

Answer: Botox for nose shape? Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty A nonsurgical rhinoplasty is wonderful technique to camouflage irregularities, dents, humps, and bumps of the nose. Your nose could be improved with rhinoplasty, which would give permanent improvements in symmetry, shape and profile. You can bring photos of noses that you think would be flattering to your face and these can be discussed. When you meet with a facial plastic surgeon, he or she will consider your nose in balance with your other features and can over the cost of the procedure. I hope this helps.

Answer: Botox Rhinoplasty A small amount of Botox (or Dysport or Xeomin) to the nasalis can diminish nasal flaring and slim the overall appearance of the nose. Strategic placement of filler can also re-shape the nose. These are certainly non-invasive options to consider before committing to a permanent surgical rhinoplasty. I would recommend consulting with an experienced cosmetic dermatologist.
