Yes you can still have the gastric sleeve evn if yiu have a colostomy. The fact that you have a colostomy will not affect weight loss. SLE is not a contraindication to having the gastric sleeve. In fact, losing weight might improve some of the symptoms caused by SLE. Consult with a bariatric surgeon in your area. I believe you can benefit from having the gastric sleeve.

Coffee is not a problem. In fact sleeve patients do better with warm or hot beverage immediately after surgery. Some of my patients like their coffee in the morning and I encourage them to continue doing so. Coffee is not going to negatively affect the procedure or your weight loss.
