Thank you for sharing your excellent question. In order to avoid the type of surgery entailed with either a Brazilian butt lift or buttock implants, some patients are electing to have Sculptra injected into their hips for volumizing purposes. Please be aware that this will take several treatments and a multiple vials of Sculptra to achieve meaningful results. Best wishes.
For patients with a limited source of donor fat we have been using Sculptra as an alternative. The most common location is for a buttocks lift. Many of the Hollywood stars discovered this and have been doing it for the past couple years. It takes a large number of vials, usually 20 to 40 vials injected over 2 to 3 sessions. The upside is that there is no downtime associated with the procedure and it offers an alternative to that person who has no other options other than an implant. This procedure was featured on The Doctors and reported to begin at $20,000. You may be able to find it for substantially less away from the coasts.
I would recommend that you view the term "master injector" as more of a marketing term than anything else. Some Facial Plastic Surgeons and Dermatologists have busy injectable/ filler practices and some do not. In this regard, the quality of the injector is determined by the quality of the w...

Thank you for sharing your question. The collagen formation developed from Sculptra should last longer than the 2 years purported by the studies. The studies ended at two years with the majority of patients having maintained their full volume addition. After the initial volume "co...
Thank you for sharing your question. If possible I would limit your use of NSAIDs as it may limit the production of collagen as a result of the body's response to Sculptra. I would recommend Tylenol as an alternative. Hope this helps.
Thank you for sharing your question and I am sorry to hear that your Sculptra results were not what you anticipated. Though there is no antidote or reversal agent for Sculptra you can improve any large nodule formation with a dilute kenalog injection. Collagenase will not be of use while 5F...
Sculptra is composed of poly-L-lactic microspheres that are injected deeply into the dermis or subdermal region. Microneedling takes place on the surface of the skin and can only stimulate collagen to the level that the needles reach. There is no heat or energy so it is not nearly as powerful a...
