Should you replace your butt implants every 10 years?

Butt implants do not carry the same risk of rupture and other implant related complications. The semisolid implants placed in the US are difficult to rupture in the conventional sense.  The main factors in longevity of implants is the plane in which the implants are placed, how the pocket is dissected and closed, and the judgment utilized by the surgeon. Butt implants should be replaced if complications such as infection, capsular contracture, or malposition of the implant occurs.

If you have FDA approved buttock implants they are  made of soft semi-solid silicone rubber and therefore they cannot rupture or leak, unlike breast implants. Because of this they are considered permanent and never have to be replaced unless you want to change the shape or size. Glad to help.
