Is this swelling above eyebrows an age thing? (Photos)

This bulging above the eyebrows is due to your corrugator muscles. Sometimes when patients get Botox to their forehead only their corrugator muscles take over and are hyperactive. In other patients, the corrugator muscles are just naturally very strong resulting in the "11" frown lines between the brows. Hope that helps!-Dr. Kalaria

The protrusion of the eyebrows and the bone underneath is either hereditary or implies that there is loss of fatty tissue above the eyebrows. In patients who do not like such an appearance, this is generally corrected with fat grafting to above the eyebrow and the whole forehead in order to round it out. The process is using your own fat producing natural and permanent results. Make sure you go to a plastic surgeon with lots of experience in fat grafting techniques to the face.
