I have a lot of red spots left from acne that have been there for months and I also still have active acne and a lot of white bumps under the skin. I told my dermatologist that I would like to find a solution for the red spots but she put me on Accutane. She said that it will eliminate the redness from the scars too, because my skin is still inflamed overall and that’s why it’s red. However, everyone on the internet says that Accutane doesn’t help with redness so I don’t know what to believe.
