Almost 9 days after fillers. By now, hopes this will go away on its own are gone. Do you think an experienced injector could save the upper lip without dissolving everything? I cannot afford another filler session so this could be the only chance this was not a complete waste of money. Thanks

Answer: Full upper lip after fillers Hi and welcome to our forum! The injection of filler into the upper lip elicits an inflammatory reaction, manifested by swelling and fullness. As you are only 9 days out, the swelling has not totally resolved. I recommend that you wait another week or two to allow for resolution before contemplating hyaluronidase injection. Consider massaging the area. Hyaluronidase will dissolve the filler. However, it is difficult to estimate the amount required for partial correction without losing the rest. Continue followup with your plastic surgeon. Best wishes...
