Should I do TT before or after BBL/Lipo? I am considering a tummy tuck or mini tummy tuck in Mexico. I really want aggressive Lipo & sculpting to entire midsection/back with possible BBL. I live in Texas, had breast augmentation in Florida in April with abd Lipo. If I would have known there is a limit to the amount of fat you can remove when combined with other procedures I would have waited on Lipo. I definitely want lipo/bbl with dramatic results but I also know a tummy tuck would give me the best results.
Answer: What is the Legal Amount of Fat That Can Be Lipo'd for BBL in Texas, Mexico & Florida?
I will respond to the initial question of amounts of supernatant fat allowed to be removed in office surgery. In Florida, if combining liposuction with another operation, i.e. your augmentation, than ONLY 1 liter of fat can be removed in combination surgeries - lipo + aug. If only doing liposuction than that amount increases to 4 liters. In Texas I believe the amount in office surgery is 5 liters, maybe a Texas expert can in form us. As for Mexico there are no rules or regulations as far as I know. It is the "wild, wild" west!

Answer: What is the Legal Amount of Fat That Can Be Lipo'd for BBL in Texas, Mexico & Florida?
I think you will get the best result from performing liposuction of 5 liters of the upper and lower abdomen, flanks, upper and lower back with BBL first. The tummy tuck can be performed later. In this manner the liposuction can be more aggressive. In addition, given the contour irregularities you have now, you are more likely to have contour irregularities that will persist. Doing the tummy tuck after the liposuction may allow slightly more skin to be removed. I perform about 500 Brazilian buttlifts each year, and this procedure is the most surgeon dependent plastic surgery procedure. Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of Brazilian buttlifts each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results.

Answer: What is the Legal Amount of Fat That Can Be Lipo'd for BBL in Texas, Mexico & Florida?
The widely held national limit is 5 Liters of lipo. Some states have narrower limits, particularly Florida, where the limit is 4L, though only 1L with combined surgery.
Wherever you do this, I would suggest beginning with liposuction and fat injections for the BBL. With a planned TT done later, the liposuctioning can be aggressive enough to harvest the amount needed for a successful BBL.
All the best.

Answer: Safe vs. legal amount of fat that can be aspirated by liposuction
There are regulations in place in Florida that restrict the amount of fat that can be liposuctioned as an outpatient or office based surgical center when combined with an abdominoplasty to 1 liter. The American Society for Plastic Surgery (ASPS) recommendation for liposuction as an outpatient is 5 liters or less. Lord only knows what if any regulation there is in Mexico. The key is to make the surgical procedure safe and not take any unnecessary chances. Never compromise on safety.
