Question

Drains kept in longer than normal Suspected seroma, but ignored by doctor. He wasn't too happy about having to correct the sides of my scars. Now this! Just my luck, right? He was dismissive when asked about my inquiry into this being a possible pseudobursa. That area feels hard, visible under dresses and skirts, unable to hide it with compression garment, let alone sucking my stomach in. Total regret! Please help!

ArizonaG.  Sorry you are having these issues, but it is difficult to say judging from your photographs if this is residual swelling or a fluid collection. Ask your Plastic Surgeon  to refer you for ultrasound study to properly evaluate the situation. Good luck.

Thank you for your question. It's difficult to tell from your photos whether this is some abdominal skin / tissue laxity, or if there is fluid (old remnants of fluid). I would suggest having your Plastic Surgeon write you for an imaging study - like an Ultrasound or a CT Scan. These relatively non-invasive procedures can tell you definitively if there is something lurking under the surface. Best of luck!
